Love You

Hello!

Are you having a crafty good week so far? Have you made any cards or scrapbook pages this week? I just received the new Doodlebug releases this week so I've been a busy little bee creating projects for you! Have you seen the new collections? There's four...Flower Box, Fruit Stand, Take Note and Stars and Stripes. I can't wait to show them to you! Also, Doodlebug released their own line of washi. Talk about colorful, fun and just plain awesome!

Today I have a Pebbles project share. For this card I attempted a chalk board design.

I used Pebbles' Walnut Grove collection and their chalk kit that includes stencils. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the red heart is colored with a metallic cream chalk to give it some shimmer. What do you think?

Hope you like. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Hello Spring!

Hi!

Is spring here yet? :) I love spring and often joke with my hubs that I should hibernate all winter until the longer, warmer days of spring entice me to wake! :)

Doodlebug's Hello Spring collection is perfect for spring projects like this card. Flowers, bright colors and birds...it has spring written all over it! And guess what? Hello Spring is 25% off at Two Peas in a Bucket! Just click on the collection name above to take you there.

Yep, spring is just around the corner! Have you noticed the increase of bird chirping in the mornings? It's their time of year too! ;)

Welcome Home

Hi!

As much fun as it is to work with new product, I also enjoy revisiting  past favorites. I love the color combo of the Family Ties collection from Pebbles and had fun creating this card.

This card could be used to welcome someone back home or to a brand new home. I added some jute from May Arts and some buttons from my stash. I really like the way the three buttons look lined up together...different colors, shapes and sizes. I think I need to play with buttons more often! :)

Have a super day!

It's a Mix

Hello!

It's a brand new week! How about a crafty share to kick it off? I created this card with a mix of products from various manufacturers. Some old, some new, some really old.

The vellum butterflies were attached to the card with button brads from Making Memories...those are the oldies. The pretty cloud paper is from Echo Park. The tapes and feather are Bella Blvd. The twine and flower brad are made by Doodlebug Design. The tag was created with my trusty old Sizzix die. Oh and these lovely new wood accents are from Studio Calico and Freckled Fawn. Lots of yum here. What do you think? Thumbs up or down?

Well, let's hope it's a great week! Thanks for visiting! :)

Back to the Basics

T.G.I.F!

Paper crafting with Pebbles has reached a new level of fun with the addition of Basics...patterned papers and accents in a rainbow of colors to match their collections perfectly! Ooh la la!

I created this card and mini treat bag with the Basics collection. How about these bright colors? And how about the Rhinestone Flowers? Swoon! Did you notice the washi? Yep, Pebbles is offering beautiful Basics tapes!

So Exciting!

Hello!

I'm so excited to see my first scrapbook page in print! Even more cool is that it features Latte...our big furry cat. :)

I love this photo of Latte! Taken by my husband last February. I had been using a chair to reach something up on the shelves and the next thing we know, Latte was sitting there looking like a little statue. :)

All the cat die cuts were created with the Silhouette and the title was made with alphabet dies by Papertrey Ink.

My page appears in the March 2013 issue of Creating Keepsakes. I wish I had an extra issue to give to one of you!

Here's Latte! This photo was taken yesterday. He was sun bathing in my office. He's always nearby. He's an awesome companion! And cute/fuzzy as can be, don't you think?

Thanks for visiting!

Bride & Groom

Ooh la la.....I'm in love with the new Love and Marriage collection from Bella Blvd! And I adore the Crochet Hearts too! Oh....who am I fooling? I love all Bella Blvd. products! The color combos, the accents, the designs....they're so fun to play with! :)

What do you think of these soft pastels with white card stock? I can't get enough of the clean look! Do you have a favorite new Bella Blvd. product? An old favorite? Do tell! :)

Sand & Surf

Hello!

Brrr...I just got back from walking Christopher to the school bus stop and it's freezing out! Makes me dream of sunny beaches, warm breezes and swaying palm trees!

I created my first project yesterday with Bella Blvd's brand new Sand and Surf collection and used one of their colorful new Feathers. I've never worked with real feathers before so it was fun and I had to experiment with attaching them. This time I used a dab of Quick-Dry Adhesive glue from 3M on the bottom underside of the feather shaft. Then I stitched the strip of wave patterned paper over it.

Wouldn't it be fun to take off to some tropical place right now? Where would you go? There's so many possibilities, aren't there? I'd pick Bora Bora...where hubs and I honeymooned nearly 21 years ago.

Hope you have a lovely day! Thanks for your visit! :)

Oops!

Hello!

I have a funny little story and card share for you. :) A few days ago I thought I'd take out the North Pole collection from Doodlebug Design and attempt some projects for the 2013 Paper Crafts Holiday Cards issue.

I love this festive line and jumped right in mixing and matching die cuts, stickers and twine.

I really get into the zone sometimes when I'm crafting. How about you?

When I was done, complete with matching envelope, I was pleased with my work and felt this card had a good shot at publication...

...until I noticed that it opens on the left hand side! ;) Oh gee! Oh well! I have a dear friend who is left handed that will get this card next Christmas. :)

Hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for visiting!

Oh Baby!

T.G.I.F!

How was your Valentine's Day? Did you get some flowers? A little Chocolate, maybe? The heart shaped sugar cookies I baked yesterday for my boys was a big hit! Christopher was so surprised when he came home from school and got to eat a pretty frosted pink heart. :)

Today I have a couple cards to share with you that were created with Bella Blvd's Baby Girl collection.

I absolutely adore the chipboard animals in this line! Aren't they cute? And the floral patterned paper I used on both cards is my favorite! I can't get enough of those pretty petite flowers!

Speaking of Bella Blvd. favorites, February's newsletter is out and it's jam packed with tons of fun projects! You can access the newsletter here.

So what will you be doing this weekend? I'm expecting a shipment of the new CHA Bella Blvd. products so I will spend some time creating some projects for you! Have you seen the new feathers? And the colorful crochet hearts? Ooh la la.....it's going to be fun thinking of some creative ways to incorporate them into my projects!

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
